This candidate will be working in the blow molding department. There will be plastic parts from the drainage tile coming off a machine that this candidate will grab the part, put it on the conveyor belt, and then they will cut the plastic piece with the saw machine. This candidate will be operating the saw. Safety will be very important. The plastic pieces they are working with is what combines the drainage tile together at like a corner or an edge. After they have cut the piece to the size it needs to be they will be labeling and packaging the product as well. This is a very repetitive job.
Remove excess flashing from the blow/injection mold part with a hammer or band saw.
Properly trim blow/injection mold parts with a band saw or rotary cutter.
Apply barcodes and package blow/injection mold parts as required.
Weigh blow/injection mold parts to make sure they meet the specification for the proper weight.
Measure the length to make sure the part fits properly in mold.
Palletize and shrink wrap finished goods.
Load the finished parts into the storage trailers.
Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours a day
Ability to lift 30+lbs
6+ months previous production/manufacturing experience OR
someone with detasseling experience or previous farming experience tend to work out well. labor intensive work
