Arbour-HRI Hospital is seeking a Part-time, evening shift Housekeeper for our inpatient psychiatric units. This is a 20 hour per week position, working Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

Who You Are

Arbour-HRI is searching for a flexible individual who is able to independently set priorities. This person must be able to perform cleaning functions in assigned area to maintain an attractive, sanitary, and orderly environment contributing to patient comfort, employee morale, and staff satisfaction.

As a Housekeeper you will:

  • Assist the maintenance department with basic tasks to meet the needs of the facility
  • Complete daily cleaning of assigned area
  • Complete maintenance duties as directed (may include changing light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles, fixing door stops, painting, and other general maintenance related duties)
  • Maintain satisfactory quality control checks
  • Complies with standards of Service Excellence: Treats everyone as a guest, demonstrates professionalism at all times, and practices teamwork
  • Demonstrate an understanding of established infection control, standard precaution, and emergency procedures as required
  • Equipment is cleaned and operated according to policy and procedure
