Production – LTO/Utility II – Tile Cutting 2nd and 3rd Shift
Receiving a pull task with information on the hard surface/carpet tile material to be pulled and retrieving the correct material with a lift truck.
Transporting a pallet by forklift to and from locations.
Complete paperwork as required.
Wrap and band hard surface/carpet tile materials prepared on pallets. Prepare and package miscellaneous items in boxes for shipment.
Tape and repair any damaged packaging.
Attendance is an essential function of the job you must comply with the corporate absenteeism and tardiness policy.
Must adhere to our normal work schedule, i.e. starting and stopping times, and where applicable rotating days.
Must assist in keeping shipping/receiving area clean.
Must be able to read, write and comprehend shipping documents, bin locations, and store orders.
Must be able to perform simple mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Will train to operate all hard surface/carpet tile powered industrial equipment.
Will work with the rebuilding of pallets and in product rework (as required).
Train on breaking down and building of hard surface/carpet tile pallets.
Must be able to work necessary overtime including the weekend.
Must be able to see small numbers and words as displayed on the computer screen.
Must be able to meet Ergonomic requirements for power industrial trucks (on and off the truck and able to reach all controls, pedals and computer screen).
Must be able to sit on lift/turret truck for the entire shift.
Must be able to stand on order picker/stand uplift for the entire shift.
Must pass eye exam given by company nurse.
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that may be hot or cold.
Ability to reach into the rack and pick the box off of the front stack of boxes, while maintaining both feet on the floor of turret truck.
Ability to operate turret truck (while standing) of heights exceeding 25’ for the entire shift.
Maintain defined productivity rate.
8 hour, evening shift
